Solidworks is a bit great, so here are some pics from my work today.

It’s too easy, unless you want to do a really really complex loft.

I’m reverse engineering a Mattbox. Now that I’ve taken it to bits I can see what an intricate and well thought-out piece of engineering it is.

It is important to dimension every element

I suppose this looks like quite a complex model

The cut tool is very useful

Creating solid around a hole

I had created a circle based on the centre point of the hole and I'm now cutting away unnecessary lines

Cutting is easy

Just click on a corner and set the radius of the curve

The fillet tool makes smoothing elements a breeze

Way cool

A nice result, and the next seven of these were just as quick to do
